Providing the highest quality neuropsychological and psychological care in Texas.

Services for youth and adults ages 5 through 50.

Our approach

Texas Neuropsychological Evaluation Services PLLC specializes in providing high quality neuropsychological and psychological evaluations to children, teens, and younger adults. Our team assesses a wide range of neuropsychological and psychological conditions and symptoms that impact development, academic achievement, psychological well-being, and/or cognitive/thinking abilities. Neuropsychological and psychological evaluations are helpful to provide diagnostic clarity to individuals, families, and referring providers in order to optimize daytime functioning and enhance quality of life. Results provide a “road-map” for guiding medical (e.g. medication management, surgery), psychological interventions (e.g. psychotherapy), and academic interventions and accommodations (e.g. IEP/504 Plan).

“From start to finish our experience was nothing short of amazing. My child can be difficult at times, but Dr. Sorensen was amazing and patient with my child. The whole evaluation process took just a few hours, but I really appreciated having the chance to discuss concerns during an initial appointment and received all the information we were hoping for after the assessment. The information he provided confirmed exactly what we were thinking, and now I have a plan for my child’s IEP and schooling. I am very grateful for how quickly we received the report and I can honestly say the staff was imaging and I am truly and always will be grateful.”

“TNES is the absolute best place to have caring, knowledgeable and thorough evaluations done! We were able to get in to see our provider right away before school and felt very confident that we were receiving accurate information that we were able to use to access accommodations for college and her disability resource center at college. Thank you SO much!”

-Father of 18 y.o patient

“My wife has previously had a TBI two years ago and has always had difficulties with mood, and so we were looking for answers. My child was recently diagnosed with autism and my wife and I began wondering if she may also have this as we have read about similarities with mood disorders/autism and TBI. Our provider conducted a comprehensive evaluation and confirmed her diagnoses and now we have a plan for therapy and medication that would be helpful. She is now doing great! And we are so happy that we were referred here for our evaluation and got the answers we needed.”
