Dr. Seth T. Sorensen PhD
Dr. Sorensen is a clinical neuropsychologist specializing in the evaluation of children, adolescents, and adults with neuropsychological and psychological disorders. Dr. Sorensen completed his PhD from the University of Arizona in 2014, followed by internship residency through the University of Minnesota Medical School in the Departments of Pediatrics and Psychiatry. He completed fellowship training through Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital in the Department of Psychiatry before joining private practice at Children's Neuropsychological Services in Andover Massachusetts. Dr. Sorensen has maintained faculty appointments in academic medical centers since 2018, including serving as Director of Neuropsychology through the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and Arkansas Children’s Hospital, and more recently through Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Sorensen has more than 20 peer reviewed publications in top tier medical, neuropsychology, and health journals and has given more than 100 lectures and peer reviewed presentations on a range of neuropsychological and health conditions impacting the brain and development. Dr. Sorensen is a licensed provider in the states of Texas, Massachusetts, and Arkansas. He is currently taking referrals and provides in person, telehealth, and digital hybrid evaluation services in the states of Texas and Massachusetts. He also provides digital telehealth and hybrid evaluation services to patients in Arkansas. Dr. Sorensen assesses a wide range of neurodevelopmental, psychiatric, and medical/genetic conditions impacting the brain across the early lifespan, as well as disorders impacting academic achievement and behavior, including ADHD, specific learning disabilities/dyslexia, psychiatric/personality disorders, and autism spectrum disorders in youth and adults.
